Having just reviewed some 300 years of Spanish History, it really just boils down to this: 9 different monarchs and a hell of a lot of wars.

I just love how finals time takes gloriously detailed interesting things and reduces them to several pages of notes scribbled out in a desperate attempt to prove that you learned something over the last four months.
