For anyone interested, Permanent Accounts over at Insane Journal are on sale for $35 until Monday. Even then, they're only $40, compared to the $180 or whatever that LJ sells them for. Plus, they're available all the time.
I just bought one. It appears to be the location of choice for those that are moving, and this seems as good a time as any to set up more than a name with a few entries over there. I think over the next month I'll be spending a bit of time changing settings, uploading icons and generally making it into somewhere that I want to spend time. I don't think I'll ever leave LJ entirely, not unless I can persuade my entire f-list to come with me, but there may come a time when everything is crossposted or posted at IJ with links in my LJ. We shall see how that evolves. In the meantime, dear friends, there appears to be yet another paper demanding my attention...
