Having just reviewed some 300 years of Spanish History, it really just boils down to this: 9 different monarchs and a hell of a lot of wars.

I just love how finals time takes gloriously detailed interesting things and reduces them to several pages of notes scribbled out in a desperate attempt to prove that you learned something over the last four months.

I summed up South African history to Tami today. White people arrived in Africa and were mean to blacks. Then they got meaner. Then they got political power and used institutions to be meaner still. And then they were amazingly meaner still.

I learned something!
