I've just heard (via facebook, so take it with a grain of salt) that the Westboro Baptist Church plans to picket Tuesday's memorial service for Eve Carson.

I'm not sure that there are words to express how sickening this is. If I continue to hear that they're planning to show up, I may well be skipping class to go dress in white and stand in front of these bastards to block them from view.

UNC is a very liberal school, and among the oldest in the US South. I'd imagine that's the logic, but it's about as twisted as their picketing the funerals of soldiers.

That does not make any sense. Who cares what kind of school someone goes too. I give them kudos for going at all!!! Geez, I wish someone would tell these people to give their little heads a shake.
