John McCain really needs to lay off the "my friends." It's coming across as smarmy and insincere.

Ahahahaha, he can't remember Ingrid's name! He's called everyone else by name!

Er... if the Japanese, French and British re-process their spent nuclear fuel, why don't we have that technology? I'll admit that I don't know what they do with it, but I smell an overstatement along the lines of "Hurricanes have never damaged oil platforms in the Gulf."

Is McCain limping?

I believe the French do have some sort of reprocessing system. I know my dad went to France recently to check out some of their facilities (he works for TVA's nuclear division). I think the issues with it right now are efficiency and cost. That almost certainly was an overstatement to some extent, but the technology does exist.
