Jan. 7th, 2007 11:09 pmI would just like to state that fleece is the most bloody minded, uncooperative fabric I have ever had the misfortune of working with. On it's own, it's a pain in the rear, but manageable. But pair it up with something else? The damn thing should have a "Does not play well with others" warning sticker on the bolt. Next to the price and instructions for care.
That said, the cloak is done. It broke a needle and (for a couple of hours) the machine itself. It morphed from a weekend project to a week-long oddessy that included 6 hours of work today. Moving the rest of my shit to the apartment? Oops, never got that far. It will happen tomorrow, I think. My entire day was the cloak and the dog. Because giving a bath to a shetland sheepdog is an hours-long process.
There will be pictures tomorrow, of the cloak and the dog. At the moment, my fingers aren't exactly doing what I tell them to, so I'm going to stop correcting spelling errors and go to bed.
