On driving, 2 months later
Jul. 13th, 2006 09:00 amOk, so it's been about two months or so since I got my liscence. I have to admit, I love driving a stick. It becomes a bit like a game, with extra points for not making the car stall, buck or shake.
That said, the other people on the road are scary. Particularly during morning and evening rush hours. I still have a tendancy to get flustered when someone rides my tail or hangs out way too close when I'm trying to merge instead of slowing down or speeding up to pass. I really need to train myself out of that, because getting flustered translates to making stupid mistakes. I don't do it very often- this morning was the first in a while, not counting the day I drove without enough sleep. But really, it shouldn't happen at all.
