In 10 hours
Nov. 24th, 2005 01:29 amI have been home all of 10 hours. In that time I have...
~saved the dog from a bagel
~decided said dog is in desperate need of a bath, nail trim and teeth cleaning
~discussed the possiblity of a new wheelchair for my sister and proven how utterly out of the loop I am at the moment
~discovered two veeery interesting things about a) where the tuition increase is really going and b) who really gets the affirmative action spots in race based admission*
~discussed my plans for traveling and studying abroad and possible internships this summer
~discussed apartment options
~found out that the newspaper industry is in a funk, meaning that my dad's job may be at risk at some point in the farther off future
I hope that all this discussion is simply because I haven't been home for this length of time since fall break and it will therefore trail off over the next few days. As much as I enjoy discussions with my father, I do need to write the last few essays of the semester, and I would prefer them to be nicely along by the time I go back to school.
*More on this later. It affects all of us at State, that's for sure. I love it when Dad gets to do investigative reporting.
