Walter Reed Middle School wishes the McCain campaign had told them before using an image of their school as the backdrop during McCain's speech. The McCain campaign still hasn't commented on why the school was chosen for this honor or whether, as many suspect, they intended to use Walter Reed Medical Center instead.
Apparently they also had difficulties finding enough black people to put in their slide shows, so they went out and bought some. From istockphoto.com.
And, for the icing on the cake, the RNC used the song "Barracuda", by Heart, without permission. Heart says they'll be donating a portion of any royalties they receive for the unauthorized use to the Obama campaign! And, ironically, the song was "inspired by the band's anger over an obnoxious record label executive." The symbolism is delicious!
