Aug. 28th, 2008 11:28 pmI have to say, the new management is doing a really decent job of listening to the users, asking for feedback, responding to complaints (albeit a bit slowly at times) and generally making LJ, if not exactly a transparent place, at least not pitch black. I'd call it a state of medium to heavy fog. That said, what with the discount on 12 month paid accounts, I'm seriously considering upgrading again. I don't think I'll go as far as a permanent account when that sale comes around in November, but I think I'm satisfied enough to pay for a full account again. Plus I still have 200 days of 100 icon time credit from the lovely anonymous person who gifted me when I turned 21!
In other news... bah, there's lots of other news but it's all complicated and it's late and I don't particularly want to go into any of it right now. I think I have a job- I'll find out tomorrow on that. I'm on a much lower dose of the same medication to see if it effectively prevents migraines without serious mental confusion. Thusfar I'm noticing some minor things- transposing letters and numbers, mainly, and lots of mental thought processes that get caught before they're acted upon. Not ideal, and if it persists without the appearance of a migraine I may try to lower the dose even further, just to see how much of that I can cut out. Thanks to drug-induced stupidity, I've managed to get behind in most all my classes. I plan to make tomorrow afternoon a big heave-ho organization and catch-up/get ahead day, and then I'm going to write and relax for the rest of the weekend.
