Aug. 3rd, 2007 08:00 pmSo. Life seems way too complicated at the moment. I'm not sure where to even begin, so I'm not going to start. I've tried and I can't seem to find a way to express myself without sounding whiney, cold or inhuman. And since I don't want to be either of those, my current thoughts will stay in my head until I can find a way to expel them coherently.
I would like to speak to the latest round of Strikethrough. LJ seems determined to drive off fandom. Three times is not a mistake. I'll migrate wherever fandom goes. I've already grabbed this name over at InsaneJournal and GreatestJournal. Would anyone with a JournalFen account be willing to grab the name for me over there as well?
I'm also beginning to entertain the idea of setting up my own site to archive my work. I realize there's precious little of it, but I'm producing more and I plan to keep doing so. I'd also like to publish some of my original work someday, and having my own site seems like a good thing. Course, that's assuming that anyone would even visit it, but I'd like to think that quality writing will eventually attract readers. And since no one's yet told me that my writing sucks...
I will not start posting my work under a lock though. That's reserved for the increasingly smaller portion of my personal life that makes it onto the internet. If LJ choses to ban me for writing porn featuring celebrities and Harry Potter characters, so be it.
fandom_counts has 35000 members; that's an extremely large number of journals to ban. If they want to get rid of us they should come out and do it- by moving on our own we do their dirty work for them. So I'll be posting the porn as it comes and backing up regularly.
