There will be tiger brownie bars, I say. Just as soon as they come out of the oven. Which will be ... whenever a toothpick inserted anywhere doesn't come out covered in tasty but decidedly uncooked batter.

And they will be good. Because anything with that much sugar in it has to taste good. Plus, I've spent an hour and a half putting them together. Anything less than very yummy will break the time:result ratio.

Here's what I did, for those that are interested:

Get a basic macaroon recipe. Mine mixed coconut, condensed milk beaten egg whites and vanilla together. Smooth over the bottom of a brownie pan. Bake.

Get a basic chocolate chip cookie recipe. Make up half of it. Or make up all of it and have cookies in addition to brownie bars. When the macaroon comes out of the oven, arrange the cookie dough in cool asymetrical shapes on top of the macaroon (which is now the base of the bar). Cover about half of the area with cookie dough.

Get a basic brownie recipe. (I'll admit I cheated here and used a box.) Spoon the batter into the holes left by the cookie dough until you have a uniform surface. Bake at the higher of the two temperatures. I'm not sure how long. At the moment I'm at 350 degrees and 25 minutes and counting.

After all that, I think I'll just buy them at the coffee shop:P

Now, to counteract the calories you just gained by reading this, here's a healthy recipe.

Cut up a zuchini. Put it in a pan with some olive oil with a bit of garlic and a liberal sprinkling of paprika. When the pan is hot, put in just enough chicken broth to cover the bottom of the pan. SauteƩ until the liquid is gone. Eat. It's yummy.
