winterthunder: (bad day)
In a fitting end to the week, I pulled into the Harris Teeter, left my car keys in the ignition and then proceded to lock my doors, pick up the requested eggs, fruit, salad and cream cheese, and check out before I realized what I had done. I then spent 5 minutes waiting for someone to bring a key, sitting on the trunk of the car and becoming more and more annoyed at the numerous people who would pull up, roll down their windows and ask, not if I needed help but rather was I planning on leaving so they could have my parking spot. Really, oh smart one, if I were planning on leaving would I be sitting on the trunk of my car in the cold with three bags of groceries? People can be really stupid.

Final Thought:
In most cases, I despise tailgaters. You know, the ones that are so close to your car that you can't even see their headlights in your rearview mirror when you're already going 10 over. I tend to purposely slow down, just to force them to pass me.

However. When you go 10 UNDER the speed limit on a mile and a half long DOWN HILL slope which has the speed limits CLEARLY MARKED, I will GLADLY ride up your ass. Unfortunately I think my indignation was entirely lost on the city bus that was guilty of this particular offense, particularly as I drive a 91 Corolla. *Sigh*
