10 minutes- ready, set, bitch
Oct. 25th, 2006 03:06 pmI feel like I've not had a chance to come up for air since Sunday morning. My to-do list is pulling from several different directions and all the due dates are spaced in such a way that breaks are just not an option. Information is pouring in faster than I can process it, and I only have so much capacity to remember for later analysis. I've had two hours of free time in the past four days, and even those put me further behind because they came in the form of an excellent fanfic that I intended to read a chapter of while eating and ended up finishing two hours later.
Shit for the next two weeks and estimated time of completion:
Chem Prelab- Tomorrow
Vocab quiz- tomorrow
Prep for spanish discussion- tomorrow
Persuasive/Call to action speech outlines- Friday
Audition for Chamber Singers- Friday
Hem formal dress pants- This weekend
Read through internship options- this weekend
Write study abroad scholarhsip essays- this weekend
Decide if you're applying for the Goldwater and write those essays- this weekend
Prepare for damn halloween carnival (which I would dearly love to chuck out the fucking window at this point, except I'm on the planning committee and can't)- Sunday
Prepare for spanish oral presentation- Sometime on sunday
ANS lab- Monday
Chem test- Monday
Webassign- Monday
I'm skipping out on work to do school stuff, except I can't do that indefinitely because we're taking the survey out again November 9th and it needs some serious work before then. God knows we can't take it out again in it's current condition. I spent four hours with my supervisor yesterday discussing the results.
And on top of all this, I have a gigantic patch on the inside of my elbow that I apparantly scraped the top off of in my sleep last night. It itches like crazy and hurts to bend at this point, which is a bit of a problem since it's my right arm. I've been shoving various moisturizers at it at every opportunity and the damn thing will not calm down.
Ok, 10 minute bitch session is up, time to go on to COM and Spanish vocab, alternating in an attempt to keep my brain sharp enough to absorb some of the info.
