Oct. 8th, 2006 10:21 pmI went to Boone with the Jeffersons this weekend and had a marvelous time despite the entire camping in the rain thing. We made a rather hilarious attempt at cow tipping (probably woke up every cow within 10 miles trying to get everyone over a barbed wire fence), went hiking, had fun by the campfire, ate at a restaurant located in three different counties and slept next to a cemetary. I've now seen Linville Falls in both the spring and the fall. I also seem to have left my voice there, as it does not seem too thrilled with the whole idea of talking. Nor does my mind seem too thrilled with the whole idea of homework, or at least not the discussion and conclusion of my metabolism lab. I've already prepared an oral presentation for Spanish and made guesses on my Organic webassign today (though I'm not sure how correct these guesses are, I haven't submitted answers yet). I've also written most of the lab, washed three loads of laundry, set up the tent to dry in the shed and scrubbed three days worth of sweat and smoke off my body.
Meh. Three days until fall break. Except I have a whole long list of stuff that needs to be done then too. I need to spend some quality time with my sewing machine, deal with the fishtank, wash the dog, do some study abroad research, hang out with Ali, call people that I haven't talked to in too long, study for my public speaking midterm, figure out a topic for my persuasive and call to action speeches, wash the car and deal with the rust spot and missing paint from where someone hit me in the parking lot and write the rest of chapter 9. And sleep in. Major priority there:D
All right, 10:30. I can knock out a quick analysis of this damn metabolism trial and head off to bed early. This cold is not as bad as it could be, I suppose, but I hate making even the slightest concessions to a damn virus.
