Steve Irwin, aka "Crocodile Hunter", is dead

I can't say I'm much of an Irwin fan, having only caught the show when I visited my grandparents because my parents didn't have cable. But I found him interesting and educational however many years ago that was, and it's always sad when someone dies and leaves behind two young kids. And, I find his death to be rather odd- after all the risks he took, he ended up dying at the hands of a stingray. Not from the toxin on the tail, but because he swam above the thing and its barb stabbed him in the heart.
