I just downloaded a program that lets me type journal entries from my desktop and set up who I filter to, what icon I use, play with my friends groups and text and everything. It says I can also have it track my friends page and I can archive all my entries to my desktop. I still need to play with that and think about the security aspects of it a bit, since it logs me in automatically right now and I can switch between journals without entering a password. Still, very interesting and fun to play with. I found it from here: And oh joy, it automatically puts in text based links, those are a pain in the ass to type in. I wonder if I can put in images without having a webhost for them... oh, it spellchecks too... nope, still have to have them hosted somewhere.

For mac peeps, I'm using Xjournal. For the rest of you poor backward people, you'll have to figure out which client to use:)

Hmmm, lets play with the bold and italics. Oooh, I can do centered and underlined text too... And lj cuts, though it doesn't seem to have cross outs. I'd like to figure that out, though not enough to spend any more time in the FAQ's than I already have:P Anyway, off to figure out the archiving feature!
