I learned this last night. I took dayquil when I got home around 8 and nyquil when I went to bed around 11. Thereby overlapping the timing by about 3 hours. It has a most curious effect. I think I can justifiably call it high, having bounced it off of a few family members and friends and not gotten any objections. I kept tossing and turning, but very rhythmecally, and I think I was humming and making noises at some point, though I really don't remember it all that well. And it was all accompanied by a wonderful feeling of 'gee, I should really try to fall asleep at some point but I don't give a damn' and the occasional voice from the Harry Potter dungeons storyline- which takes on a whole new meaning when you ponder it in that state. I'm pretty sure I had some profound realization at some point, because I remember sitting up with my finger in the air, but I sure as hell don't remember what it was:-P All this went on until about 4:45 in the morning, at which point I realized that my nose was stuffed up again and my head really hurt and all of a sudden I was exhausted. So I stumbled upstairs and took some more nyquil, and fell asleep around 5am. I had some really interesting dreams, which I don't remember any of, just that they were interesting. I think I'll stay away from drugs for today...

Whaa?

Is this weird to anyone else, or just congested and not thinking straight little me?

Kirsten: climbs out of shower, dries off and starts brushing hair
Knock on door
Kirsten: yea?
Joe: Umm, can I come in and wash my hands?
Kirsten: Uh, sure, hold on a sec. *pulls on nightshirt*
Opens door, no Joe. Goes out into hall, Joe is in music room with guitar on.
Kirsten: You wanna wash your hands?
Joe: Oh, yeah. *takes off guitar and walks past the bathroom and up the stairs*
Kirsten: Why are you going upstairs?
Joe: Oh, I forgot.

Ok, I may be lightheaded and standing slightly damp in a nightshirt and half my hair brushed, but I'm not that far gone. On the plus side, I now smell much better than I did before, something which I'm sure the dog will appreciate, Joe not coming close enough to tell at the moment.
