Every time I begin to doubt

that this world is amazing something comes along which reminds me of the awesomeness of it all. When walking back from class today a female red-tailed hawk flew right over my head with a freshly caught squirrel and proceeded to eat it in a tree 15 feet away. I may not know where I fit in this intricate balance that is our world, but I feel privledged to be a witness to it and to someday play a part.

wtf?

I just had an animated chicken walk across my computer screen while attempting to check my yahoo account. It strolled quite nonchalantly over the links I needed to click on and took up residence in the advertisement for ethanol-based fuel on the right side of the page and then flew out of the browser window as a car came speeding through the advertisement box.

The world may be amazing, the people in it are amazing in a totally different manner.
